POWHATAN RECKLESS DRIVING LAWYER GETS 79 MPH IN 55 MPH COMPLETELY DISMISSED

Reckless driving is a criminal misdemeanor. Any time you hit 24 mph over the limit the judges and prosecutors treat this very differently. It is not uncommon for judges to impose a convict and possible suspend the license at that speed and some judges give jail at 24 mph over.

As your lawyer, I can sometimes do better. Because reckless driving at  24 mph over the limit is such a serious charge, it carries the possibility of:

  • permanent criminal record if you are convicted
  • jail time up to 12 months
  • fine up to $2500
  • license suspension up to 6 months

AS YOUR POWHATAN, VIRGINIA TRAFFIC COURT ATTORNEY I CAN OFTEN DO BETTER

See the following case that Leavitt & Martin handled in traffic court in Powhatan. It was charged as 79 mph in a 55. We were able to get the charge COMPLETELY DISMISSED. That means that there is no fine, and no license suspension and NOTHING WILL SHOW UP ON THE DRIVING RECORD.
