MECKLENBURG RECKLESS DRIVING CASES REDUCED

We represented clients charged with Reckless Driving in Mecklenburg, Virginia 82 mph in a 70, 83 mph in a 70, 85 mph in a 70, 87 mph in a 70 and 90 mph in a 70 within the last two weeks. In each case we were able to get a plea agreement to reduce the charge so it is not reckless driving.

CASE 1: Mecklenburg Reckless Driving by Speed, 82 mph in a 70: This case was resolved via a plea agreement to defective equipment, which is a non moving violation that has no points.

CASE 2: Mecklenburg, Virginia Reckless Driving by Speed, 83 mph in a 70: This case was resolved via a plea agreement to defective equipment, which is a non moving violation that has no points.

CASE 3: Mecklenburg, Va Reckless Driving by Speed, 85 mph in a 70: This case was resolved via a plea agreement to defective equipment, which is a non moving violation that has no points.

CASE 4: Mecklenburg Reckless Driving by Speed, 87 mph in a 70: This case was resolved via a plea agreement to defective equipment, which is a non moving violation that has no points.

CASE 5: Mecklenburg Reckless Driving by Speed, 90 mph in a 70: This case was resolved via a plea agreement to be reduced to a simple traffic infraction that is not reckless and not a misdemeanor.

HOW DID WE GET THESE RESULTS?

Every case is unique. It is HIGHLY unusual to get a Mecklenburg reckless driving charge at 85 mph and above reduced to a non moving violation. Those are not typical results for that speed. We were able to negotiate an unusual result based on the facts of each particular case. We will always do our best to get the best outcome possible. Often that is a reduction out of reckless driving, but sometimes we do better depending on the facts of each case.

In most cases, if you are willing to put in some effort we can get a reduction out of reckless driving depending on the speed and driving record.

In each of the cases, except for the 90 mph case, the end result is going to be a reduction out of reckless driving.
